Use the planners without the drawing
The layout planner provides course counts, board-run length, cutting assumptions and stock quantities as text beside its schematic. The drawing shows at most 60 courses; use the numerical result for the complete count. The vent area worksheet lists the net free area and any shortfall in text, so its meter is not needed to read the result.
Keyboard and enlarged text
Use the “Skip to content” link to pass the navigation. Tab moves between form fields, links and buttons; Enter or Space activates buttons. The board-direction selector uses the browser’s standard select control. You can enlarge text with browser zoom. If a control is clipped or a value cannot be read, tell us which page, browser and zoom level you used.
Direction, images and motion
The board-direction study describes the selected direction in text as well as showing it. Its board count is illustrative, not a quantity result. Architectural images are conceptual context, not evidence of a buildable roof assembly. The site includes reduced-motion styles; we have not completed testing with every operating-system setting or assistive technology.
Keep a usable record
“Download readable report” saves an HTML report with labeled input and result tables. Use “Preview readable report” to read it on the page before downloading. “Export data (JSON)” retains the machine-readable record. You can also use your browser’s Print command on the planner. Inputs are temporary; export a record before leaving. An inquiry draft is not proof that the request was delivered.
